She come back again in gumtree with this title post "Well Presented and Fully Furnished One Double Bedroom Flat for rent in Edinburgh Bills Inclusive"

This is the third scammer in two days, I am wasting my time due to those fakes!
Anyone knows a solution to that problem?
We could send a lot of message like we are interested, she will lose many of her time without any results :)
Of course we will do it with new email created just for that!
What do you think about that?

here the reply I received:

Thanks for the interest you have in my flat. I am very sorry for the late reply it was hectic schedule at work. My flat is still available for rent and you can rent my flat as long as you pay your rent at when due. Here are the necessary things you need to know about the rent and deposit.

Rent : £ 85.00 pw
Security Deposit: £ 400.00 (Returnable at the end of a month stay in my flat)
Utility bills inclusive ( water, gas, council tax, TV license and wireless Internet) Utility Cost : £ 0.00 pcm

However, my flat is fully furnished in and out with all necessary house use. At this stage that you want to rent my flat, i need to know some few question about you. Can you take care of my flat as it is? How many months do you intend to rent and pay for? Do you have references in Edinburgh?

Kindly reply for further information and i would like to know where you are coming from to stay in my flat.

Regards

Only had the further reply from Michelle so far but am waiting for the same one from Mr/Mrs Jones. Should have known I wouldn't get that lucky with a flat. Hope this helps others not get taken in.

Hi everyone
I sent lots of enquiries to Gumtree rental adverts and got two completely identical replies from different people for different ads. My initial reaction was to reply to one of them questioning this. The adverts were then both taken down more or less straight away. I googled the email address of one of them:
[email protected]
and it brought me to this website so I thought I'd post the name of the other one. She/he/it purports to be called Rosalie Barrett and uses the email address:
[email protected]
I like to think there's no way I would have fallen for the business end of the scam, but I hate to think of these ******s preying on other people who are old or not streetwise or otherwise vulnerable. Keep up the good work guys.

Hello eddm We don't encourage leading them on especially with an email address that is attached to your real life. What you are proposing is called scam baiting and we do not support it here. You can check out our sister site to learn more about that activity. We appreciate your contributions here! :D

I saw a flat advertised, so I asked for some more information and got word for word the same response, except that it was in Reading, not Edinburgh. The email address was [email protected]

Welcome to ScamWarners Seren. Thank you for posting up this additional email address information. Scammers often use multiple email addresses or different scammers use the same script. Either may be the case here.

Thanks for the reply and the sincere interest you have in my flat.My flat is fully furnished in and out as you can see in the picture and there is a garage and a off street parking in my flat. I spoke with my lawyer concerning the interest you have in my flat and we both agreed to have you in my flat.
However,it is unfortunate that my past bitter experience of inviting people to come and view my flat without any form of confirmation of their financial ability and not keeping up to time as at when scheduled, has brought about great loss to me. I have traveled all the way from Ireland to take some interested candidates round my flat because that's where i work with (P. Elliott & Company).
My lawyer and i have decided to carry out a simple test on seriousness and financial ability to pay for my rent before coming for viewing. I would not ask you to send your bank statements or pay slip . At least 1 month rent of 240 GBP plus the security deposit £400 which is refundable after your 1 month stay in my flat, would be required from you to transfer through Western Union Money Transfer agent to your trusted friend or relative in UK premises as a Receiver
Once you have done this, scan the receipt to me and if you do not have scanner, you may write out the details on the receipt as i will send it to my lawyer to verify if it's truly genuine and available in your friend's custody, after verification, then we can proceed for the viewing.
Note that the transfer must be confirmed valid before the receiver picks up the money and also, i will refund back to you the cost of transfer when we meet.
I look forward to reading from you soon. +447024010306
