Room for Rent and other rental scams

Too right it's a scam. Needs to travel from Birmingham to Geneva. Gets the plane for each enquirer? Sure- the parcel of keys will come up via fake courier and cash in advance. Why, when a quick phone calll to a local agent would get it dealt with? It also gets the place managed properly. Scammers are not in the real world and will not give the obvious arrangement that will not get him money. 105% SCAM.

So could it be possible that he’s the exception that proves the rule, or has anyone else run into similar scams like this?
Thanks! :D
