just got caught up in this today in Minnesota. here is the craigslist ad

I am very upset. I wish i would have checked before i sent our information to these people. i also sent a picture. didn't know if anyone else has done that. I am scared.

**** i feel so duped. first scam i have fallen for. luckily i found this before we sent any money. I know better now, but I don't want anyone else to fall for it.

Trying to find an apartment or house to rent with my roommate in San Francisco and came across this way too good to be true price. Here's what the owner wrote that sounds just like what your scammer told you but only he changed the program they're "supposedly" to be in. So glad I google part of his story and found this website!!!

In case you see any sign board, they are the Realtor in charge of my house before I decided to take over by my self. I am no more working with them and don't bother to contact them because formerly i wanted to sell the house before me and my Lovely Family now decided to rent it out instead of selling it out.
