Hi,

The rental is 500 €/month and all costs are 74,25 €/month ( water, electricity, heating, garbage, cable /internet access, furnished,etc ) .
I had a client who wanted to rent the apartment and I used a real estate to manage my transaction. We have start the transaction with a rental company and after he don't paid for the deposit. So I canceled the transaction and I paid for this 200 £. For this reason I decided that I accept a warranty from you, 1000 € that mind ( 500 € for rent + 500 € for the damage deposit which is refundable at the end of the lease if nothing is damaged in the apartment ).
Look how we can do this transaction in good terms :

You can send the money through Western Union to any name you want ( your brother name , friend name, father name ), in United Kingdom so I can see that the money are available in UK. The receiver don't need to be in United Kingdom , he can be with you. You'll be the sender of money and for receiver name use ( your brother name , friend name, father name, at your choose ). After you'll send the money, you must send me a copy from your transfer so I can confirm. In the same day I will ship you the keys and rental contract so you can visit the apartment.
If you'll like to rent it you must sign the rental contract and change the receiver name ( your brother name , friend name, father name ) , with my name so I can receive the money.
However, if you are not pleased with the apartment for any reason, you'll cancel the transfer and you'll receive all money back, Also I will send you the money for fees back and you will send me the keys back.

This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union, MoneyGram, pre-paid credit card or bank transfer with a promise that you can have the keys to a property that does not belong to him.

Sounds safe. It's not!

At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a lawyer,a friend or family member.

In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.

All the details such as names, addresses, pictures etc. that the scammer uses in order to back up his story, are stolen from elsewhere.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
