Finally i now quit understand your suspicions and fear about going
through the protocol.
Firstly i want you to know that i am not telling you to send or
transfer any money to me and i will not have you give or send me any
money until you are fully in my flat and you have viewed and love it,
That was why i the Protocol goes like you sending the money to someone
close to you so as to be sure you are going to be in possession of
your funds it could be your friend wife or any member of your
family, someone you trust,Also that was why i forwarded to you some
scan copy receipt of some interested tenant that have equally went
thought the protocol successfully for viewing,Also we could make the
verification within some min before the receiver pick it up cos it
wont be confirm-able of it is not available with western
union.Secondly the reason why the advert is no more in Gum tree
Website is that i was so impressed with your profile and also another
tenant profile which i am satisfied with so i think you are people are
really interested in my flat so i have no reason of keeping the advert
on gum tree so that i could focus and know the next line of action
with you that was why i sent you the pictures of the flat.
Thirdly the Use of US and WE is cos the flat assurance is covered with
i and my solicitor and i will not like the situation which i will do
anything without my solicitors consent, you know i already told you i
have faced some bad experience so with my solicitors help and advice i
think i am safe renting the flat to anyone.Fourthly it is very usual
of my using my name and initials the way i like ,sometimes i use it
like Hobbs Micheal and sometimes i use it like Micheal Hobbs cos this
is my general email and i mistype things easy cos i do it freestyle
and not writing an application to a company..(Smiles).
also i just thought when we see thing will be ok..but sorry i have
never leave for you my contact details here is my Phone number
7024072811.
Finally i want you to note that i am not telling you to send me any
money and i am not asking you to give me any money before you are in
my flat , i am just trying to observe protocols here and trying to be
sure you are financially capable of renting it as you have said before
comping down from the Ireland......

The thief will tell you that you can rent his accommodation only if you can prove that you have genuine interest. He will ask you send money by wire transfer (normally Western Union) to yourself or a member of the family to show that you have sufficient finances and that you are not a "time waster".

Another variation of this scam is that you need to send (by Western Union) money in order that the keys and other documents can be couriered to you

He will ask you to send him the transfer details.

Make no mistake ! Western Union Transfers can be picked up virtually anywhere in the world and with the minimum of identification. They are almost impossible to trace once the money has been collected. You will never get to see the accommodation or your money again.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment by Western Union before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
