Subject:RE: $950 - 1 Bed / 1 Bath Apartment
Hello There,
I am happy to let you know that my apartment is presently available even for long and short term periods. I am Jeanne Enderson, the owner of the apartment you are making inquiry . I bought this apartment for my daughter during her studies in US , but now she's back home (London/United Kingdom) permanently, so I'm renting the place for unlimited time.
The flat is exactly like in the pictures . The district is very well-served with public transportation, shops and the apartment building is surrounded by a host of supermarket where you can easily get things needed. Also, very important, the utilities (cold/hot water, electricity, wireless broadband Internet, digital TV, 1 parking spots, dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, refrigerator, washing machine, etc.) are INCLUDED in the price of $950 per month and the warranty is also $950 and you get it back, when you decide to leave the apartment (you will have to give me at least 30 days notice). As for me, you can rest assured that I will never ask you to leave the apartment. My daughter is building her life here, and i am too old to move to US, so we won't disturb you.
Before we go any further I would like to know a little something about you, like how many persons you intend to live in the apartment, and for how long.
All the best from London
Jeanne and Michael Enderson

Hello Again,
I just received the confirmation from Realtor.com that our transaction has been approved and started. They said that they sent you a notification with all the information you need to continue with the transaction, please let me know if you did received it.
Please check your email ( INBOX and SPAM/JUNK folder )
According to the notification you have to confirm the payment in 24 hours and then send the payment details in order to confirm and lock the payment.
I have to give you a tip very important about the payment. You were requested to send money with Western Union.
I have used already before this agency and i will tell you a trick so you don't have to pay higher fees when you will confirm the payment with them. When you will go to Western Union location to make the transfer in case they ask you where you send the money, tell them that the transfer is for my cousin/brother/best friend.
(Ex: Realtor.com (agent) is my cousin/brother/best friend and I will send the money a gift for my mother)
This way the Western Union fee will be convenient, if you tell them that you pay your rent the fee can be 10 times higher because they have special services for rent payments. I hope this will help you save some money. I look forward to receive news from you, to let me know when are you able to confirm the payment.
Please listen to me because I know what I'm talking
Once you receive the contract, read it carefully because it will give you the necessary instructions for payment.

Thank you so much !!
This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union, MoneyGram, pre-paid credit card or bank transfer with a promise that you can have the keys to a property that does not belong to him.
Sounds safe. It's not!
At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a lawyer,a friend or family member.
In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.
All the details such as names, addresses, pictures etc. that the scammer uses in order to back up his story, are stolen from elsewhere.
If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
