Room for Rent and other rental scams

Vacation Rental Scam. I've verified that the owners of this house are unrelated to these scammers (by contacting them on VRBO). Payment terms inside.

Same guy is using a different name and unfortunately, i fell for it. I have several reports filed, did you happen to gather any additional info which might be helpful in building a case?

I'm sorry you were scammed. Are they still using the same email address?

[email protected] (Jonathan Cervantes) - they are most certainly the same entity. Do you remember where the property being fraudulently listed was located (city/st)?

The OP never provided the address, but typically scammers will use addresses found on the internet listed for sale and/or rent on sites like Zillow or whatever.
