Dear Michelle,
Sorry for my late response, i am presently with my daughter, she just gave me a grand-child. The look of the flat is just exactly what you see in the picture i sent to you earlier and all bills inclusive, also the council tax. I am giving this place away just because no one is making use of the flat at the moment and i hate to see it untidy every time. Its better for me to let it out to someone who will make it clean and tidy. I hope you understand this. Well, Viewing the flat is not a problem but i will like you to do something. I guess you will understand this, it's a policy My Solicitor has advised me on and i wish to abide by it, which will make me believe you really need the flat and capable of paying for it and not one of the time wasters i have met in the past. I have been fooled several times and I had to travel a long distance(Dublin) to meet people who wants to view my property and at the end of the day they tell me they want to stay in the flat for a month before they could be able to pay me. I don't want this to happen to me again so My Solicitor has advised me that I have to be sure that who so ever is renting my property should be capable of paying the cost of the rent.
You will go to the nearest western union money transfer around you, Send to your Friend, family or anybody close to you, send the sum of 650pounds in western union, by so doing the money is still under your care. I HAVE NOT ASKED YOU TO SEND ME MONEY VIA WESTERN UNION BEFORE VIEWING THE PROPERTY. I am not ready to get money from you as i have said. All I need to see is the western union money transfer copy of the receipt giving to you at the point of the transfer. Scan the western union receipt and send it as an attachment to my email or just write out the sender's,receiver's and the MTCN details just for me to view it and be sure you are ready to get the flat. After viewing the place, and you really like it, You can go together to the western union location agent or bank around to get the money back and we can reach an agreement on how you will move into the flat. I will pay you back the whole transfer charges use in sending the money. I must let you know that i am an aged woman of 71years of age, i am very sorry for the little stress you have to undergo, i hope you understand clearly the reason why i am doing this.If you do not know about western union, here is an example of how to do it.... SENDER'S NAME(YOUR NAME)..........SENDER'S ADDRESS(YOUR PRESENT ADDRESS).........RECEIVER'S NAME(YOUR FRIEND'S NAME).....RECEIVER'S ADDRESS(YOUR FRIEND'S ADDRESS)AMOUNT SENT...................... and scan the copy of receipt or just write the informations out to me in an email just for me to view and check for the availability of the transaction by tracking it online, if you can do this soon and forward the details, then i travel down and pick you up to show you the flat at any convinient time of your choice as you have requested.

Best Regards

The thief will tell you that you can rent his accommodation only if you can prove that you have genuine interest. He will ask you send money by wire transfer (normally Western Union) to yourself or a member of the family to show that you have sufficient finances and that you are not a "time waster".

Another variation of this scam is that you need to send (by Western Union) money in order that the keys and other documents can be couriered to you

He will ask you to send him the transfer details.

Make no mistake ! Western Union Transfers can be picked up virtually anywhere in the world and with the minimum of identification. They are almost impossible to trace once the money has been collected. You will never get to see the accommodation or your money again.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment by Western Union before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
