Hello,

How are you doing and thanks for your interest in my house. (PLEASE I WOULD LIKE YOU TO READ MY LETTER CAREFULLY FOR BETTER UNDERSTANDING)

I had to leave Hermitage, TN in a hurry due to my recent promotion at work as it involves me working in different states. My family and I just moved from Tennessee. We intend of selling the house if we find a Tenant that will be ready for a lease to own after a year in the house but if not, then we will continue with normal rentals. We intentionally make the monthly rent significantly low and affordable as good faith for my happiness, as a good christian believer, and for my recent promotion and to make life easier for other people as you might be wondering why low rent.

I am currently working as a counselor for the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) here in Florida. Please visit http://en.unesco.org/ you can also support our mission. I also want to be convinced that you are capable enough to taking care of our property for us?. We don't want it to be use anyhow, i want you to get back to me on how you will be taking care of the place or the experience you have in your previous places of living or lived. I also want you to note that utilities are included in the rent such as, water, electricity, gas but you only pay for Garbage disposal.

A colleague of mine introduced me to this internet site of advertisement when the reality company i gave the house to manage put a huge amount on the house which make people not to rent from the Realtor so i have to withdraw the house from them and start doing the rental by my self since am not around now.

Below is the breakdown cost to move in immediately

$850 for Monthly Rent
$950 for Security Deposit (one time payment)
$200 for Pet Fee (one-time fee for each pet) if there is any.
Total cost of $1,800

I would also like you to know that you are to pay total amount of $1,800 for RENT and SECURITY DEPOSIT together or $950 for Security Deposit if you don't have the whole money at once but (excluding pet deposit if there is any).

I look forward to hearing from you if you're satisfied so that i can forward you a Rental Application form if you are really interested in renting our place. I hope by now you should eager to view the house because it is a lovely home. So far, we have seen a couple of interested families but we shall rent to the best tenant according to our choice. The house is ready to move in. UTILITIES INCLUDED AND LEASE IS 6 MONTHS TO 1 YEAR with option of Lease or Own. The house is for rent now but would be really interested in a lease to own in the future.

This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union, MoneyGram, pre-paid credit card or bank transfer with a promise that you can have the keys to a property that does not belong to him.

Sounds safe. It's not!

At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a lawyer,a friend or family member.

In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.

All the details such as names, addresses, pictures etc. that the scammer uses in order to back up his story, are stolen from elsewhere.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary
