Another rental scam. The scammer went to the trouble to create an email account with the exact same name as the person on the county assessor's public data as the owner of the house, who does live in a different city than the property, although not in Texas like indicated in the email. I found the house listed for sale on a realtors site, and the realtor confirmed that it was a scam.

I want you to know that am not after the money at all but who will take good care of my house.The rent is $500 and the security deposit is $700. So If you are willing and ready to rent the house. Get back to me and let me know your plans so we could proceed.
