Let me give you some details about the home :

-As you can see from the pictures, my apartment is fully furnished and equipped

-Location is gorgeous.

-The monthly rent is 15.000 TWD , price include water,electricity and maintenance .

-The security deposit(damage assurance) is also 15.000 TWD ( You will get it back when you will decide to leave the apartment ) .

-The lease is flexible, can be month to month (min stay 1 month - max 5/6 years) .

-Pets are allowed in the house.

-One parking spot is reserved for my apartment .

I bought this apartment for my daughter during her studies practice in Taipei and also for a good investment.

Now she’s back in England permanently because is pregnant, so I’m renting it out for unlimited period. I am very proud to say that soon I'm going to be a grandfather.



Unfortunately, my job and my daughter pregnancy doesn’t allow me to do any travel for the next few months, so I will not be able to come and meet you personally for a while. However, I hope these issues won’t affect the rental at all.

I can make arrangements to rent the apartment from London ( i will pay all it takes ).

I am not interested to make a lot of money from the rent as I am interested to find someone clean and responsible who can take care of this house.In order to do that I have to know a some details about you (Your name,your age,where you live now,like how many persons are you planning to live in the apartment, for how long, if you have a steady income, etc.). You should know i appreciate sincerity very much.



Because I don’t had time to find a trustworthy person, don’t have any friends in the area to send the keys, I found an alternate solution . In order to close the viewing process safe for both of us, I found a company who will handle everything . Is an rental agency called TNT Property Express . I think you already heard about TNT. They opened a new service for rental agreements in England.



With this procedure you will be able to view my apartment without any obligations to rent it. This process will take maximum 2-3 days. To avoid any misunderstanding i will be glad to explain to you step by step how the viewing procedure work through TNT Property

Dear xxxxxx, you seem to be a reliable person . Also ,after I spoke with my wife and my daughter we decided that you are suitable to rent our apartment ( after the inspection) . I went into the TNT Property office and an agent explained me how they will assist us in this kind of situation.



This are the viewing/renting steps :



- To start the process all I need is your information (Name and delivery address) .

- I will go to the TNT Property office to drop off the keys and documents of the house. TNT Property will make a detailed inspection of the property's documents in order to certify the ownership. If the ownership is confirmed, TNT Property will accept the initiated transaction. However, if ownership is not confirmed, they will decline the initiated transaction and they will notify you to stop everything.

- TNT Property will send you the invoice agreement (via e-mail) where you will have all the details about our mutual agreement + payment information .

- After you will receive the invoice, you’ll have to transfer the payment (One month of rent + the security deposit = 30.000 TWD) to TNT Property, according to the instructions from the invoice. This will be a guarantee that our agreement is mutual and legal. The deposit will be just a formality, and it will not commit you to rent my apartment.



The payment will remain in the custody of TNT Property until you will check the apartment and move in .

After you will pay the deposit,TNT Property will send an agent to your registered address (in the next 24-48 hours) to meet you for delivery . Also the agent who will make the delivery will also help you to inspect my apartment .

– If you will be like my apartment, you will sign the contract and you will be able to move in when you desire . If ,for any reason, you will not be satisfied with my property, the TNT Property agent will return your payment . The refund will be made in cash, on the spot immediately.



I will pay for the services of the agency, so there will be no extra costs for you.

Thank you for info . I really hope that you will like my apartment and you will take it (after viewing) .



Before starting the process , I will need your final accept and then i will go and i will leave the keys&documents into TNT Property custody . I will pay in advance the agency fees so i need to be sure that you understood the agency viewing process . So please confirm me :



-As soon as i will leave the keys, the contract and the ownership certificate in the agency custody, TNT Property will request from you a temporary payment guarantee ( one month of rent+ the security deposit) .

- As soon as your payment will be confirmed, the agency will send an agent to make the delivery ,help you to inspect the apartment and sign the legal documents.

This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union, MoneyGram, pre-paid credit card or bank transfer with a promise that you can have the keys to a property that does not belong to him.

Sounds safe. It's not!

At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a lawyer,a friend or family member.

In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.

All the details such as names, addresses, pictures etc. that the scammer uses in order to back up his story, are stolen from elsewhere.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
