Subject: {Disarmed} RE: Great two bedroom flat, modern furnished and refurbished

Hello,
Here are some more pictures of the flat, it is located on King Street, SO14 3DG but I can't give you the exactly address because there's no one living out there and I'm afraid of thief's and I do apologies for this but I hope you understand me because I am in Italy and the flat is empty. The property benefits from access to beautifully maintained communal gardens and comprises reception room, kitchen with washing machine/tumble dryer, master bedroom with fitted wardrobes and en suite bathroom, second bedroom with fitted wardrobe and bathroom. In the kitchen there is a dishwasher and also a big fridge freezer! Regarding the council tax and the bills I can tell you that it is included in the price of 600 pounds per month and also TV, Internet broadband and parking place! The refundable deposit is 600 pounds and you will get it back at the end of the contract.
We can sign the rental contract starting from this weekend but I need to be sure that you have serious intentions in renting the flat that's why I attach here also a model of the rental contract and also we can discuss the terms when we will meet!
If you are decided to view the flat let me know because there are other persons interested in reserving it!
Kind regards,
James

The thief will tell you that you can rent his accommodation only if you can prove that you have genuine interest. He will ask you send money by wire transfer (normally Western Union) to yourself or a member of the family to show that you have sufficient finances and that you are not a "time waster".

Another variation of this scam is that you need to send (by Western Union) money in order that the keys and other documents can be couriered to you

He will ask you to send him the transfer details.

Make no mistake ! Western Union Transfers can be picked up virtually anywhere in the world and with the minimum of identification. They are almost impossible to trace once the money has been collected. You will never get to see the accommodation or your money again.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment by Western Union before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
