Thanks for your interest to be my tenant.
My name is Christina Bachmeier and I'm a 44 years old. I bought this apartment for my son during he's studies, but now he is back home in Poland permanently.
Before we go any further i would like to know something about you, like how many persons you intend to live in the apartment, what is your job, how old are you.
The apartment is located at Klosbachstrasse 22 8032 Zurich.
The apartment is exactly like in the pictures, fully furnished, fully equipped, so you won't need anything to move in (you can also bring your own things furniture if you have).
The monthly rent is CHF 560 for whole apartment including utilities (water, electricity, internet, cable, one parking space).
Short or long term lease?! The lease is flexible, min stay 1 month - max 8/9 years. The price will not increase monthly, it will remain the same for the whole period that the contract will be signed.
About pets .. there are no problems if you have pets, as long as you clean up after them!
The only inconvenience is that my job doesn't allow me to leave Warsaw even for one single day. We just hired some new staff and I'm in charge of their training. But this won't affect you at all.
The apartment is ready for you, all you have to do is to check it and see if you like it.
In order of that, I've found a way for us to complete the deal safely and fast so you can check the apartment in less than 3 days. Nobody can help me to show you the apartment because I don't know the neighbors very well.
The solution I've chosen is provided by Airbnb, they handle rentals for people who are unable to solve them alone, which are abroad etc., so they will take care both the inspection and payment.
I can make arrangements to rent the apartment from Warsaw (on my expense of course).

If you know better english, please write me back in english.

Looking forward to hear from you soon

Thanks for your reply,
You seem to be a very nice person and I can assure you we will not have any problems.
Like I have inform you before, the price you shall pay for 1 month of rent will be CHF 560 for whole apartment and I want also a security deposit CHF 1000 (the security deposit CHF 1000 you will receive back at the end of the contract), with no extra taxes to pay. The rent, I want to receive them monthly to my bank account, so I hope it will be no problem for you to send the money in my account.
I will try explain to you step by step how this will work, take a few moments and read my email carefully!
1. I'll reserve the apartment for one month from your arrival date via Airbnb for inspection.
2. Airbnb will send you the booking confirmation via email. You'll must pay for first month of rent + security deposit via airbnb system and when Airbnb will have your payment confirmation, an agent from airbnb will come to show you the apartment.
Once you inspected the apartment you have two options:
Option 1: You will take the apartment and sign the contract for long period.
Option 2: But I don't think you will use this option, you'll tell to the agent that you don't want to rent my apartment and Airbnb will refund you the money in 48 hours.
End of the deal!
If you are interested so please email me with this details and Airbnb will send you the booking confirmation:
* Full Name:
* Your full address:
* The date when you want to move in my apartment:
I've chosen Airbnb because they offer a guarantee for both of us.

Best Regards,

This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union, MoneyGram, pre-paid credit card or bank transfer with a promise that you can have the keys to a property that does not belong to him.

Sounds safe. It's not!

At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a lawyer,a friend or family member.

In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.

All the details such as names, addresses, pictures etc. that the scammer uses in order to back up his story, are stolen from elsewhere.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
