Subject: important details needed for lease contract agreement
To: Michelle Banks
Thank you for your fast response and also for your interest in this room and i really love the way you introduce yourself, the apartment is available and very clean as you can see the pictures, its fully furnished, the interior and exterior are excellent and there is off street parking,I'm a laid back person, easygoing, matured, understanding,I'm also looking for the same in my flatmate and i respect my job,i work until late night and i respect others privacy,so you have no problem living with me,i will be so happy to have you as my flatmate, your room has a private bath and also has computer desk .
I'm also working in Hospital and studying at the same time,i'm not working in Netherland, i'm originally in Netherland i studied English in Leiden and now in Prague studying medicine in Charles Uni and also working part time in Hospital, I don't close until late night,so I'm sending you some of my photos and my passport for you to have an impression of your future flatmate..
never mind i can reserve the room for you till your arrival date since there is a perfect procedure that we both have to undergo before you can proceed with the payment...
However if you really have interest in renting the room just let me have your FULL NAME,YOUR EXACT ARRIVAL DATE,YOUR DEPARTURE DATE,YOUR CURRENT ADDRESS AND A SCANNED COPY OF YOUR ID CARD OR PASSPORT,So that i can quickly instruct our family lawyer to prepare tenant agreement form for you to see the terms and condition of the contract and if you are okay with the terms and condition then you can proceed with the first month rent and security deposit directly to our family lawyer account,so that the room could be fully reserved for you till your move inn date because there are lot of people that also have interest in renting the room, but my mother prefer the most serious person who pay first..
The signed Lease Contract will be send to you first through attached mail for you to read and understand, after which you will proceed with the payment,I'll now send you the original copy through a registered courier to your address for you to sign and bring along with you when moving in.
From from your future flatmate..
Renate.
This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union, MoneyGram, pre-paid credit card or bank transfer with a promise that you can have the keys to a property that does not belong to him.
Sounds safe. It's not!
At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a lawyer,a friend or family member.
In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.
All the details such as names, addresses, pictures etc. that the scammer uses in order to back up his story, are stolen from elsewhere.
If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
