Hi,

seems like I was chatting with the same scammer today:

Hello,

Sorry for my late response, but I'm in Italy-Roma right now, and I have been very busy at work. Anyway, thank you for your interest in renting my apartment. The price of the monthly rent is 650,00 euro (the price includes all utilities costs). I own the apartment and i left with my work for a 5 years contract in Italy-Roma, so I decided to rent it. The apartment is in perfect condition, no need for additional repairs what so ever.
So, if you are interested in renting my apartment, please email me back for more details.

Best regards,
Lori Ann Powell

Hi,

Like I have informed you before, the apartment is currently free, I accept short term 3 to 4 months and long term disposal from 5-6 years or more this depends on your decision. You can use my furniture, or you can also use your own if you prefer. If you decide to use yours, you can store my furniture in the large basement cellar. The price for 1 month of rent will be 650 Eur with all the bills included in it, and I also need a guarantee deposit of 600 Eur (that you'll get back when you move out). Now I'm living in Italy-Roma, but this will not influence at all the rental as I am willing to send you the keys so you can visit it and see it if you like it. You will have 2 days available to inspect the the apartment before rent it. The delivery of the keys and viewing permit (signed by me), will be made through Airbnb.com to make sure that we can trust each other. If you want to know more about the rental process please get back to me and I will send you the step by step procedure. A quick response would be much appreciated.

Best regards,
Lori Ann Powell

This was a responce to my request, after I discovered his ad on a german listing site immonet.de. The apartment he tries to "rent out" is located in Hamburg – looks like he expanded since your posting here. The email address is different, as well as he now "moved" to Italy, but the second text is nearly the same as yours, so we obviously chatted with the same person. Hope this information helps you to pin down the bastard.
