i found this amsterdam apartment on craigslist and it looked legit. the owner (laura baker) and i corresponded via email and after she sent me the rental agreement i sent her the 690 euro deposit via paypal. the address for the apartment is Keizersgracht 96 1016 GB Amsterdam.
today she wrote wanting the rest even though i won't be arriving in amsterdam until late december-- that made me suspicious. how can i tell? this is what she email me today:
How are you doing today,I am Sorry this mail come as an urgent mail.
Thank you for the time and patience.Balance would be due on 8th/11/2010 according to the Paris tentative rule in accordance to section 63 code 54 of the Law.If you do not Understand Dis.Kindly Provide your Phone Number so that i can ask one of Our representative to explain to you on phone.
