Thanks for your mail and Glad to hear from you I got Your Application Form Fully filled and everything is okay by me. I am very exited and willing to let you move in our property as soon as possible and we have concluded on accepting you to move in as soon as you are ready. So as we shall be renting our property to you, please i want you to take very good care of the property because I have spend a lot of money on the the property, so that I might be glad when coming by mid of next year to see how neat you keep the place.

Never the less, our only concern is to find a good and responsible tenant that will maintain and govern our property very well in our absence(The reason for the price been cheap). We want it to be clean and the person that will rent it to take it as if it were his or her own. Please I am renting the property to you based on Trust and Honesty and again I want you to stick to your words, I am putting everything into Gods hand, so please do not let me down. I have attached a picture of myself to this email.

The total cost for you to move into the property is First Month Rent ($1000) & Security Deposit of ($600) = ($1,600). $1000 for First Month rent and $600 for the Security Deposit which is refundable at the end of the lease if nothing is damaged in the property. I would be sending the property key's and documents to you via DHL EXPRESS to the address you filled in the application form and the shipment tracking number will be emailed to you so that you can track it to know the exact time the package will be delivered to you the next day.. Below are the document I will be shipping to you once i have received the payment from you.

This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union, MoneyGram, pre-paid credit card or bank transfer with a promise that you can have the keys to a property that does not belong to him.

Sounds safe. It's not!

At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a lawyer,a friend or family member.

In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.

All the details such as names, addresses, pictures etc. that the scammer uses in order to back up his story, are stolen from elsewhere.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
