Hello,
Thank you for your message. My name is Paolo. I attached photos so you can have an impression about house.
The rate for your stay would be 190 Euro per night + airbnb service fee (around 6%) and refundable secure deposit 500 Euro. You have access to the entire house (not shared, only for you).
The house is located in : Oude Doelenstraat 10 1012 ED Amsterdam, Netherlands
Please note, I don't accept payment by credit card because another guest was trying to pay with stolen credit cards (no offence).
The payment for booking must be sent by bank transfer directly to Airbnb Bank Account.
You can setup quickly an Internet Banking for online payment or you can go personally to your bank.
Do not make a booking request because as i said payment by credit card is not accepted, if you are ready just email me and at my request airbnb will send you the booking notification from my calendar and payment instruction by bank transfer.
In order to fill in the rental agreement I'll need the following info from you :
Full Name:
Full Address:
Phone Number:
Number of Guests:
Arrival date:
Departure date:
Scanned Passport/ID (optional):
Special requests paid on arrival (airport transfer, grocery supply, baby cot, meal):
Check-in and check-out hours are flexible, but it depends if other guests will come or leave in same day when you check-in or check-out.
Cancellation Policy : Full refund 5 days prior to arrival.
Security deposit 500 Euro i will give you back in cash at the last day when you will finish the rental. Like any other transactions on Airbnb, they will handle payment and it will be released to me only after you check in. If everything is ok, please provide the requested information so I can initiate the booking on Airbnb.
I'm waiting your decision.
Kind Regards,
This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union, MoneyGram, pre-paid credit card or bank transfer with a promise that you can have the keys to a property that does not belong to him.
Sounds safe. It's not!
At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a lawyer,a friend or family member.
In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.
All the details such as names, addresses, pictures etc. that the scammer uses in order to back up his story, are stolen from elsewhere.
If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
