Hello
Thanks for the interest in my flat. The room is still available .The period depends on what you want

A security deposit of 300pounds is required which would be refunded
back to you after moving into the flat.
You would be sharing the flat with me 25,i work in Investment banking and Mr Mark 24 Pianist. We are nice and friendly to be with.
I look forward to hearing from you again !

Lizzy

Dear Michelle,
I am quite happy because we are on the verge of becoming flatmates officially.
I have attached the Agreement papers which was duly prepared by my solicitor.
Please, read carefully and make sure you understand all details ,then you would have to append your signature where necessary as well and send it back to me for documentation.
I would make myself available at your landing destination and take you to my apartment.
Regarding the deposit and rent ,my solicitor advised me on a safe, fast and reliable way to make the payment. Its through Western Union Money Transfer. This has been the way in which my past international flatmates sent down payment too and they confirmed its efficiency as well. You would be given a slip to fill, here are my details you would need to fill the slip:-
Full name:- Elizabeth Downing
Address:- 16,Devonshire place Westminster , London W1G6HY, UK .
A receipt would be issued to you immediately the deposit has been made which i shall send to you immediately. You would bring the slip along with you when coming to London.
Please,be reminded that the security deposit would be refunded back to you after moving into the flat.
I also want you to know that the room is already on hold for you as soon as you sign the Agreement papers and send it along the payment details and the 10-digits MTCN number that would be given to you at the Western Union office.
I really look forward to hearing from you and look forward to receiving you in the flat as well.
I await your response ASAP.
Regards,
Lizzy.
PS-The rent is 352 pounds for a month and the security deposit is 300pounds which will be refunded to you after you move into the apartment. It is better if you make a transfer of both the rent and the deposit so a receipt will be issued to you at once.
The thief will tell you that you can rent his accommodation only if you can prove that you have genuine interest. He will ask you send money by wire transfer (normally Western Union) to yourself or a member of the family to show that you have sufficient finances and that you are not a "time waster".
Another variation of this scam is that you need to send (by Western Union) money in order that the keys and other documents can be couriered to you
He will ask you to send him the transfer details.
Make no mistake ! Western Union Transfers can be picked up virtually anywhere in the world and with the minimum of identification. They are almost impossible to trace once the money has been collected. You will never get to see the accommodation or your money again.
If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment by Western Union before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
