I just need someone who is tidy and capable of taking care of my flat as it is because that was where i lived before i got transferd to work in belfast northern ireland and i have been given a new fully furnished home here.i will look forward to hear from you as soon as possible so that we can negotiate further.or would you be able to come up with a reservation deposit of 500 hundred pounds, all i just want to know is that you have adequate funds to rent the place so that when the 4th of dec comes around you will not look elsewhere for another flat after i might have reserved one for you here.pls confirm this and get back to me as soon as you can.have a nice day

hello Michelle
hope you had a great day, viewing can be done as soon as possible but my past bitter experience of booking viewing with tenants without checking their financial capability has made me waste a huge amount of money and time as i work and live here in belfast, northern ireland.therefore,i will like to know weather you ve adequate funds to rent my flat, all you need to do is to make a transfer of at two weeks rent[300pounds]+security deposit[400 pounds]making a toatl of 700 pounds to any of your friends living within the uk via money gram or western union and get back to me with the scan copy of the receipt used in making the transfer as an evidence that you have adequate funds to rent the flat,as soon as i get the scan copy of the receipt i will personally come down to bristol to take you round my flat.kindly try and confirm this and get back to me with your intentions.have a nice weekend and remain blessed...attached are some more pics of the apt..

The thief will tell you that you can rent his accommodation only if you can prove that you have genuine interest. He will ask you send money by wire transfer (normally Western Union) to yourself or a member of the family to show that you have sufficient finances and that you are not a "time waster".
Another variation of this scam is that you need to send (by Western Union) money in order that the keys and other documents can be couriered to you
He will ask you to send him the transfer details.
Make no mistake ! Western Union Transfers can be picked up virtually anywhere in the world and with the minimum of identification. They are almost impossible to trace once the money has been collected. You will never get to see the accommodation or your money again.
If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment by Western Union before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
