The thief will tell you that you can rent his accommodation only if you can prove that you have genuine interest. He will ask you send money by wire transfer (normally Western Union) to yourself or a member of the family to show that you have sufficient finances and that you are not a "time waster".

Another variation of this scam is that you need to send (by Western Union) money in order that the keys and other documents can be couriered to you

He will ask you to send him the transfer details.

Make no mistake ! Western Union Transfers can be picked up virtually anywhere in the world and with the minimum of identification. They are almost impossible to trace once the money has been collected. You will never get to see the accommodation or your money again.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment by Western Union before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.

I will be willing to keep the flat till your arrival but i need to be sure you are willing to rent it.We can proceed by having an arrangement to have the flat secured before your arrival,i can ask my lawyer to prepare the contract form in your name and have it send to you after which you can make a part deposit to have it secured till your arrival.Once this is done i will send you a receipt which you can bring when coming and you can move in at any point in time.The rent will start counting when you arrive to the flat and it will be stipulated in the contract form.Please you can send me the following details to proceed with the contract form

this Bi**h nearly got me for a place in sydney thank god my mate told me to type her email into google. my god how stupd was i. luckily enough i didnt give her my passport number as i was in work and didnt give her any money or copy of my passport. i feel sick! as this was my last chance to find somewhere before i arrive in sydney inn a couple of weeks before xmas and am really struggling to find somewhere. argh please be warned of [email protected]

letting my house to you. We came on transfer.More so,We have

total interest ,once you are able to provide all
necessary requirements.You can move in the flat once you have the

to make a down payment deposit of half of the money and i can

service to the address given to me by you.Also want you to know
that your money will be refunded back if not interested in

So I have looked online at location and that is only 1 km walk from work... so I am really very interested. So will you be living there and does anyone else live there? My dog is extremely well behaved... so if you're fine with him being there- that is perfect.
