I want you to note that I am a kind and honest man and also I spent a lot on my property that I want to give you for rent, and I would want you to treat it as your own, I would like you to keep it tidy all the time I also want you to let me have trust in you as I always stand on my word,the rental fee is ($600) per month including utilities for the whole of the apartment and the security deposit is ($500). Thanks for your interest in my room. The room is available for short or long term and the building is in a great location situated in the quiet and safe area and offers secure access. internet, cable, laundry in-suite, storage facilities, heat, water, electric and parking is included in the rent and pet are allowed. I will just let you know that you can't view the interior, i would have love to show you the interior through a friend or relatives but i don't have anybody that can do that for me at the moment. Its a 2 bedroom, you will have your own private room and i will reside in the other room when i get back.



I tried to look for an agent that I could give the document & the keys before I left but could not find any as a matter of urgency. And I don't want home misused in my absence that is why I took the keys and documents along with me. So I hope you will promise me to take very good care of the room always.

Thank you so much for the mail again, i have attached my pictures to you and hope you can see what i look like, and more also the rent comes with internet, hydro, gas, stove, and many more. I will give you a call once the keys are shipped.

You can make the payment by Money Transfer Service such as : Money Gram Or Western Union I want you to go and visit any of their office or grocery store nearby and make the payment to my personal assistant information below. I will not be chanced to go and pick it up, i will go to the shipping company to ship out the package as soon as i receive confirmation from him that the payment is confirmed.

This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union with a promise that he will send the keys through a courier company.

Sounds safe. It's not!

At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union payment to a friend or family member.

In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment by Western Union before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
