Thanks a lot for the information!

I was exchanging emails with "Robert Ciarlante" whose email address is now [email protected].

He sent me some photos of a flat with the house number only about an hour ago. The phtotos look too good, and I checked the location on Invalidenstraße 35, 10115 Berlin, which is likely in the same building of Natural science museum of Berlin. My last email requested him to send me a copy of the original contract with his landowner, and etc. And then just in case, I googled his name and found this scamwarners website, where the same email contents I have received from Robert were posted.

I am posting this to thank you all for awakening me, and also updating his changed email address above.
Plus, it seems clear that craigslist has so many scams...

Just received almost identically worded emails from Peter (not Robert) Ciarlante in Scotland (haha) for an apartment in Lisbon! Thank you posting this warning! Saved us a lot of heartache.
