5BR LakeShore Beautiful condominium. FULL HOUSE - $3000/month!!!" Ad on Gumtree

This is the ad i saw on Gumtree Singapore.
5-Bedroom Condo for 3K?
WOW! Good deal!
And so, i emailed the agent, saying im very interested, giving a bit of my background, etc.

Then he replied with this:

Hello,
My name is William Goh, I am the owner of the apartment you inquired about.
I'm renting the whole house for $3000 per month, plus utilities.
Honestly, I would like to rent my apartment for a year, since I'm on my trip to Ukraine to my new fiance :)
If you take the apartments for one year or more, I can cut down the price to 2800 per month.
The apartment is very beautiful you will absolutely love it I'm very confident about that!
It's furnished, there is a washing machine, microwave oven, everything needed is there including WiFi internet and cable TV.
The apartment is free and available right now.
For what period of time are you interested to rent it?

From your description I understand you're a quality person and I would love to have you in my house.
I will return to SG at the end of January when we can meet and sign the paperwork and everything. Until then, if you want to move in faster or if you don't want to risk someone else renting it, I could send the keys to you via FedEx, so you can stay in the apartment until I get there at the end of January. For that I require a security deposit of 1500 which also represents the rent for the first month. Do you prefer to pay by bank or is western-union more easy and convenient?

William
