This person asks for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters (see below).
This proof is in the form of a Western Union payment to a friend or family member.
Sounds safe. It's not!
At other times, this person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union and they will send the keys through a courier company.
In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.
If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment by Western Union before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.

The apartment is located in 664 Fulham Road, Fulham, SW6 5RX, with 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom both rooms are completely vacant now. I want you to understand that i wont ask you to make payment to me when i have not given you the apartment keys or signing lease contract with you, it's just that i don't want to wast time waiting for you in vain and as well to be sure you going to rent the apartment and i hope you understand my concern.
But i think we can do it this way,i want you to deposit the money in your choice (which could be your friends or relative name) via western union down to London so that i can confirm from western union if you have the complete amount which will prove to me that you have the complete money for the rent.You also have to scan a copy of the payment receipt to me as a proof so that i can verify from western union office by calling them on phone to ask if the money is really there or not and if they confirm to me that the money is there,then I'll immediately sign the lease contract to confirm your booking then send you the contract form.
