Hello all.
A similar website called wwimmorentals.com seems to offer the exact same thing.
They use hi-jacked identities of innocent and unknowing individuals to create profiles for subletting apartments that are hj-jacked as well.
The pictures and information of the so-called available apartments are stolen on the internet.
I found an ad on a very popular website for a very nice apartment. After contacting the person behind the ad, I was informed that he has relocated to another country due to work and wishes to sublet his apartment using the services of wwimmorentals.com.
To make a long story short, I received the name of the agent + bank account information to transfer the funds (required deposition). I was promised to receive keys + contract to sign.
After the funds were transferred to the alleged bank account, all lines of communications were broken and no more contact with the alleged individuals was possible.
If you come in contact with these people, CONTACT YOUR LOCAL POLICE!!!
