This is a common scam. If its too good to be true, it is too good to be true. This domain was set up in March of 2017 and other emails have been used in other listings. In the case of my son the email was [email protected]
It's clever because if you google the email you get to the louisberger.com site. Most people don't realize the different a '-' makes in an email. And this scammer doesn't provide a last name so you can't readily search for the name.
The bottom line to apartment seekers is to recognize when something is too good to be true. Beware of any situation where someone can't show you an apartment. And especially be aware of anyone that won't share their real name.
Do your homework. Luckily my son consulted with me first and I was able to spot the phony asap.
