So sorry for the incident

This apartment is suitable for you and it’s 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom and i can prorate the rent to $950 for one month rent and $950 for security deposit and the deposit includes all utilities and if you pay for 2 months you get 3rd month free for the New year bonanza and you will be the only person living in the apartment and you have nothing to worry about the Apartment comes furnished and all utilities are included in the rent and no additional pets fee


Unfortunately I'm in Atlanta presently, presenting a unit to a family who just flew from Texas due to the hurricane.i will be here to give them the keys and show them inside as its stated in their agreement with me. Just to let you know, you have the right address and information of the unit and you can go ahead to view the property.


The home is exactly has seen in the picture. You can go ahead and view the surrounding of the house and neighborhood area at your own convenient time. I can also give you a guarantee in writing that the unit is "as is" as seen on the craigslist ad per the listed features, amenities, furniture and finishing. If otherwise your money will be refunded back to you immediately. This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union, MoneyGram, pre-paid credit card or bank transfer with a promise that you can have the keys to a property that does not belong to him.

Sounds safe. It's not!

At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a lawyer,a friend or family member.

In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.

All the details such as names, addresses, pictures etc. that the scammer uses in order to back up his story, are stolen from elsewhere.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam.
