You make the deposit from your name and address to your
friend/relative name and address or vice versa down to London using
Western Union for the total sum of £900 and send me the scanned
receipt. As soon as I see the scanned receipt that you have made the
payment,then i will confirm your booking by sending you the contract
form and take the first plane to London to meet you for the rental
documents. So you can be sure i am not joking you, I will send you a
copy of the flight reservation.
Once we meet and you see the flat, we will go together at the
Western Union office and you will take the money back and pay me
cash. You don't need to be worried because the money will be
deposited at what name you want even your father name. Western Union
will take commission for sending money.We shall deduct it from the
rental fee.
If you accept this , send me your name so i can write it on the
tenancy agreement. In this way you can be 100% sure that you will be
my tenant.

This person asks for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment either to him, your friend or a family member.
Sounds safe. It's not!
At other times, this person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union or Moneygram with the promise that they will send the keys through a courier company.
In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.
If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam.
