Since posting an advert on Gumtree about wanting a flat in London, I started to get emails offering too good to be true offers. Centre of london for £1000 all bills included, I WISH! I even managed to barter one of them down to £750.
I just needed to log it somewhere because although I find it funny, the fact that this must work on some people really gets me angry!
These are two of the addresses I received emails from but no doubt these will change:
Anders Eriksson <[email protected]>
Iveta Tinchev <[email protected]>
They start by offering a really low price and then ask for you to bank transfer them the money to show you are committed. They will also mention they don't have any signal or have lost their phone so you cant ring them.
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
