First sorry for my late reply. My asking price is 400+100(including all taxes and bills) GBP per month and the first payment will be for 2 months of rent (1000 GBP), because the minimum period of rent is 2 months. The flat is very clean and I want to leave the flat to one person who is a clean and responsible tenant.
For me it is very hard to come in UK because of my working place, and if I will come I must be 100% sure that I will not come for nothing. As you can see in the photos everything it's new in the flat. I am working in Germany (Berlin) and I am here with my family.
Regarding the meeting, I think we could fix a date when I can come in UK for the viewing and we can reach an agreement. The property has a fully furnished kitchen, clean and well tidy sitting rooms, laundry room, and fully furnished with all home utilities like: electric shower, lounge, vacuum cleaner, toaster, oven and microwave, dryer, iron, washing machine , refrigerator , dishwasher, power shower, heater, cable ready, tv set and dvd player, internet connection, equipped kitchen and all utilities.
I am waiting for your mail to know if you are satisfied with the details of my flat which I have you, as well to know and arrange for the viewing of the flat and arrange for other necessary arrangements that are needed.

The thief will tell you that you can rent his accommodation only if you can prove that you have genuine interest. He will ask you send money by wire transfer (normally Western Union) to yourself or a member of the family to show that you have sufficient finances and that you are not a "time waster".

Another variation of this scam is that you need to send (by Western Union) money in order that the keys and other documents can be couriered to you

He will ask you to send him the transfer details.

Make no mistake ! Western Union Transfers can be picked up virtually anywhere in the world and with the minimum of identification. They are almost impossible to trace once the money has been collected. You will never get to see the accommodation or your money again.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment by Western Union before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.

This scammer may be sending documents to authenticate his identity

One of the documents is a Police ID card purporting to be issued by Cleveland Police (United Kingdom).

The Cleveland Police tell me:-

Cleveland Police have made Interpol and the Metropolitan Police in London aware and investigations are ongoing into these matters. ...... [snip]........We don’t have an Officer by the name of Paul Gowler [Gowlerr]. However we have a Police Officer with the Cleveland Police named Lightowler and we are aware that his identification has been obtained and is being used fraudulently. In some cases the identification Documents have been altered (to quite a high standard) to read Raul Hightowler, Peter Lightowler, Paul Towler, Paul Hightower, Paul Light, Raul Bowler, Paul Gowler and more recently Paul Lowle, Raul Howler. .......[snip]

So i can be sure of that look how we can do:
You make the payment from your name and address to your best friend name and address in UK using WesternUnion for 2 months rent that means 1000 GBP and send me the scanned receipt. As soon as I see the scanned receipt that you have made the payment, I will come in UK and you will see the flat and maybe rent it. After that, we will go together at the WesternUnion office and you will take the money back and pay me.So all you have to do is to find a WesternUnion office and wire 1000 GBP from your name to your friend name and send the scanned receipt.I am asking you this to be sure that I do not come in UK for nothing. Hope you can understand my situations.
P.S : As I told you,I have a lot of customers interested to rent the apartment. I will reserve the apartment to the first one that provides
me the scanned paper from WesternUnion. As soon as I have the confirmation from WesternUnion that the money are available on his name I stop the transactions with all the other customers

My name is Gowlerr Paul and I am from Germany and the flat is still available for rent. I had an aunt in Canada and after her death she left me her apartment from Canada a few years ago.
The flat was redecorated last year and the flat is looking very nice and clean. I m interrested in finding someone clean who can take care of this house more then getting money from renting it if you know what I mean.
Till last month the apartment was rented by some students from Germany and now they left and the apartment is available agai n for rent. The price I want is 400 per month and I am intrested in a long term agreement,minimum two months! So the first payment will be 800.
If you have the money I could come in the next few days to show you the apartment and maybe sign the rental agreementif you like it but first I have to be sure you are honest you really do need a place to live because two weeks ago a person from Vancouver told me he is really interested and he asked me to go to Vancouver to meet him and sign the rental agreement and when I arrived there no person showed up to rent my place and I lost time and money for nothing.

We can sign the agreement starting next weekend but you see these is due to previous predicament that I have gone through in the past trying to rent the property to some students,I have got to realize so many people are not really in need of an apartment all they do is secure a place in advance, My last experience in trying to rent the property to a particular lady had got me to predicate on these,she made me believe she was willing and ready to get the apartment she even went to the extend of showing me her statement of account,which made me took her for the viewing but after taking her for the viewing,she saw the apartment and got to love it and never wanted to loose it,so she kept pleading i retain it for her because she is not financially composed at the moment,which i did but end up disastrously.
So basically for me to be sure of you been willing and ready to get the apartment I will employ you walk into any Western Union outlet and send the total bill cash 1200 (two months rent and one month refundable deposit) to your partener`s name(NOT to ME),or your partener should send it to you with location of United Kingdom,All I need is for you to get back to me with the receipt issued to you after making the transaction so I can confirm it! When we will meet in person to sign the papers we will go together to Western Union and you or your partner will change the cash to my name so i can come back and take the money I just need to see that you do have the money available and you do have serious intentions in renting the flat! If the Western Union agent will ask you about the receiver you should tell him that is your cousin because the transfer fees will be cheaper! Anyway I will pay for it either you take the flat or not! I will book the flight for Saturday as soon as I have your positive answer because I can come only in weekends! Sorry i did not find the rental agreement , i have it in Canada,i attached my identity details!
I do apologise for that but as I told you last time when I arrived to Canada to show the flat to a person everything was a stupid joke and I hope you understand me because I don`t want to waste my time and money on plane tickets..

Do not worry is just for proof, go to the western union and send the money to UK,to one of your relative name(mother,sister,father,husband) , After i see the receipt from you i will reserve the flat , meet you and make the contract,after that you can go to the western union and change the name of the receiver`s to my name,so i can go back home and pick up the funds.This will be the warranty that you have the money available to rent my flat!

I think I will simply avoid that site: HalloLondon.co.uk because it's the fourth scammer I ask info for a flat, it's starting to be annoying. I sent HalloLondon an email asking them to check the ad of "Mabel Smith".

The fourth scammer is Paul Gowlerr, supposedly from Germany, the ad was originally posted under the name of Oana.

Here's the message I received:

My comment: this kind of digital camera costs normally about 4-5K£. He "sells" it for 3000eur and ready to go down to 2800 (!) with free delivery on full pre payment conditions He wrote me the same story about how he lived in Germany (mixed with France in several mail), moved back to UK and that is why he sells it on german ads site etc.

exactly the same passport, police id card. family photo etc etc ...he used as paul gowler..

so he s now scamming the poor people of the former east block for their money..
