Rental Scam - [email protected]

Hi,

I have been contacted by this person for a rent. She has not asked for money transfer so far and argues that everything will be made via Airbnb, still I am not convinced since it is an uncommon practice, the email address seems strange and I didn't find a clue on Internet about this person. Could I have your opinion ? Hereunder her message :

As I told you in my first e-mail, I am with my work right now. Before leaving Germany I had prearranged the deal with Airbnb Company so my presence isn’t necessary. The keys and all needed papers are in their possession, ready for delivery. You will have 3 days to inspect the the apartment before rent it. Airbnb will starat the delivery for the keys and the contract to you, but first you must deposit the value of 1 rental months(350 EUR) plus + 1.000 EUR Kaution total is (1.350 euro) in their account. Thanks for posting, it's a definite scam. AirBnB do not get involved in this type of transaction.

Make sure that you can physically view the inside of the rental before parting with any cash to anyone.
