RENTAL SCAMMERS

Both these emails have been found on the glasgow Gumtree advert. They offer affordable rental in glasgow city centre. They want funds transferred to their accounts before you even access the flat. I have reported them to gumtree. At first glance these flats are very inviting and affordable but when you seek interest in the flat it is obvious that they do not exist. They are very persistent when i advised i was no longer interested.

I have advised both mr & mrs rogers that i have forwarded their details onto the police.

Welcome to ScamWarners STOPTHERATS. Telling the scammer you have reported them to the police may get them to stop emailing you, which was your goal. Sadly, the police cannot do anything because scammers use fake information, including the names they use and the locations they claim to be from.
