Subject: Re: JPY120000 / 2br - 2 bedroom single toilet apartment in Akasaka (Minato-ku)
Hello Michelle
Thanks for the response, The house is still available. Unfortunately, We are currently out of Tokyo. I got a new job opportunity and its a 3 years contract with Costain United Kingdom (http://www.costain.co.uk). to head the trainee dept, its the reason why we have put the house out for rent. I'm really excited to join the group. I worked as an x-ray welder for beneath the surface ship building for Nassco (http://www.nassco.com) for the past 12 years and my wife worked part-time as a human resource assistant. We were tired of working same routine everyday, we wanted something more interesting, when we found this opportunity we knew that this was our answer.
We hosted an open house two weekends ago, it was a whole weekend open house, a flyer advertising the open house was distributed to notify renters. We had only a couple through, They came through looking to move in, they love our home. but for us, the timing is the factor, the couple wish to move in sometime in June. And they would not want to make a deposit. We are not holding out much hope for them even though they were wonderful people. The keys to the house are here with us, since no one had responded to our ad in time, we took the keys of house along with us. Our realtor defaulted and we need not trust him again. We have decided to do this on our own.
The lease term is in consideration of between 1 and 3 years, Please contact me on +447024035973, or via email for more rental procedure. The house is ready for move in. Pets are allowed (Big, small) and there is no fee/charge for pets.
The monthly rent is JPY130000 and the refundable security deposit is JPY130000
The address is 4-25-28 Meguro-honcho Meguro-ku Tokyo.
You are free to drive by the house and get back to us for more information and Rental application Form. Thank you and God Bless you and your family.
Daniel and Linda.
The thief will tell you that you can rent his accommodation only if you can prove that you have genuine interest. He will ask you send money by wire transfer (normally Western Union) to yourself or a member of the family to show that you have sufficient finances and that you are not a "time waster".
Another variation of this scam is that you need to send (by Western Union) money in order that the keys and other documents can be couriered to you
He will ask you to send him the transfer details.
Make no mistake ! Western Union Transfers can be picked up virtually anywhere in the world and with the minimum of identification. They are almost impossible to trace once the money has been collected. You will never get to see the accommodation or your money again.
If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment by Western Union before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
