Thanks for the informative reply as your personal data has been documented for further rental paperwork's and reference purposes.You can go to view the home from the outside.We take care of damages.The Security Deposit is $750 and rent is $800 Total move in cost $1550 and tell us how long rental term/duration you want.The rent is due on the 5th day of every month.Directly send the 1st month rent and deposit payment to me via money transfer facility.
I will like to know whether you are ready for the payment of Refundable Security deposit?This is important because the deposit will be used for the payment of a postal delivery service to your location through a Postal Delivery Company, as the home delivery details will be forwarded to you in advance.
The postal package will contain HARD COPIES of documents and items;
1) House Entrance keys and the rooms Keys
2) House Rental form(Containing your reference details)
3) The house documentary file
4) Full address and description of the house.
5) Rental Agreement Form.
The house vital informative papers and keys will be home delivered at your current address
Therefore, we took the house documents and keys along with us when we were coming to West-Africa, mostly because we want to personally find a clean and trustworthy person as a tenant. Once you take the rent and move in, the whole gamut of responsibility that comes with actually "owning" a home becomes your responsibility. And we are very happy that it is comfortable for you. The house vital informative papers and keys will be home delivered at your current address and under your name as the receiver.
we shall be visiting in August to check on how you have been taking care of the condo and if it is okay by us then we can talk about extending the rental terms. The thief will tell you that you can rent his accommodation only if you can prove that you have genuine interest. He will ask you send money by wire transfer (normally Western Union) to yourself or a member of the family to show that you have sufficient finances and that you are not a "time waster".
Another variation of this scam is that you need to send (by Western Union) money in order that the keys and other documents can be couriered to you
He will ask you to send him the transfer details.
Make no mistake ! Western Union Transfers can be picked up virtually anywhere in the world and with the minimum of identification. They are almost impossible to trace once the money has been collected. You will never get to see the accommodation or your money again.
If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment by Western Union before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
