Rental Scammer - [email protected]

Hello everyone!
If you are looking for an room/appartment in paris, watch out!!
I almost fell for a scammer, but I became suspicious since this person wanted me to pay 1200€ to his/her mother in London via Western Union.

This is a clean room in The Centre of Paris. The rooms look onto a large private courtyard and bright (Away from the noise of the street).
The ground floor apartment is secured With A janitor and digicodes My apartment IS Directly Facing the floor garden.It WAS Recently renovated and squeaky clean. So, You Do not Need to worry about using the stairs / elevator.
The apartment is in. a very convenient location at The Heart of the node in Paris, in the 1st district (very close to French museums), making it The Perfect base location for visiting Paris!
Each room has bathroom Which Has Its Own a bath tub, fully equipped kitchen With modern appliances. Each room furnished IS With A table and chair and a wardrobe With fine finishing to Give A Satisfactory Desiring taste and style.
I am Offering a home not just a room *** I mean i need cool flatmates Who Will respect everyone's view and Other flatmates. Clean, Country rent on time, friendly, and Always Excessively Not the partying ... (Who Will Never Turn the room to a day club). Hello,

About myself: I am a young female in my mid 20s...Vibrant and working as a research lab scientist in micro biology and doing my masters same time. I work till late evening and return home very tired. I believes there is more to be achieved as my years still lie ahead. I'm clean and free from all sort of crime..I party and have fun only at weekends but hate dirtiness and don't turn my flat into a daylight/night club. ( It is allowed to go out in the night and return in the night (late night too) but you will have to let me know so that i do not get worried about you and be sure you are okay.)

I currently occupy a room and have two vacant furnished rooms for rent. I'm renting it because my previous flatmates are through with there activities here and gone back to UK on a placement. So, i need people who are fun to be with, people whom we could share times and moments together, hang out, share ideas and be good friends,not just minding your business or going into your room after the day...but you can always have your private time and affair if you so wish and desire.

Location: My flat is located in the heart of Paris, rue di Rivoli, 75001 In the 1st Arr. to be precise. If you are familiar with the city, you would know rooms in this area are very rear and scare to come by.

We are sharing just the Kitchen for cooking purpose, the large living room opened to the garden just by the back of the apartment for fresh air at night. You have your own bathroom, toilet and furnished bedroom. I shall send you the pictures in my next mail.

*1 bedroom with double bed and huge closet and window 52sqm. 500 euro per month
*1 bedroom with single bed and closet window 42sqm. 450 euro per month
* A refundable security deposit of 700 euro.

NB: All rent fees is inclusive of utilities, council tax, security fee, CAF and contract is also available to ensure you of safe refund of your deposit.

Utilities included are: Water, Gas refill, Cable TV, Electricity and internet bill (Wireless Lan).

Amenities in the flat includes: A small fridge in each room, A big freezer in the kitchen for freezing stuffs, each room has a big wardrobe for keeping your personal belongings, An LCD TV connected to a cable, A surround sound system, A queens bed with linen supplied(The bed is capable of sleeping two people conveniently), Washer/dryer for laundry needs, dish washer as well, Air-condition and central heating system to keep the room warm incase of cold and harsh weather condition, Gas cooker and micro wave oven available in the kitchen..I think these are all i could remember in my flat but if there is anything needed, it would be provided.

Questions: I would like to know a little about you as my prospective flat mate. I would like to know where you will be coming from? Who will be responsible for your rent payment? Do you have references incase you have flat shared in the past? How long are you willing to stay? Are you a student or worker? Would you be expecting any guest in the near future and do you have any pet to come with?

Hope this details have been helpful enough to know who you would be flat-sharing with and the amenities in my flat.

Respond with the answers above and once i get this, i will email my flat pictures and rental terms to you in my next email before we proceed further.

I am so happy at your response coz i feel very relieved and quite convinced we would definitely make good flatmate and since our profile matches and you seem nice and cool,flat sharing with you will definitely be worthwhile. Attached to this mail are the other pictures of my flat.

* First bedroom = 500 euro + 700 euro security deposit; = 1200 euro
* Second bedroom = 450 euro + 700 euro security deposit; = 1150 euro

Bus Stations: Chatelet, Louvre (Rivoli)....So, you have nothing to worry about coz the transport system is okay.

Location and Neighborhood: My house is in the central district of Paris..Its a very busy street its location.The noise does not come into the room and at night even though activities still takes place at night..lol A few Mins drive from my house leads to the popular Museum and to major hotels, parks in the city. There are restaurants, store, malls, boutiques and cinemas, all within walking distances from the house.

Terms
1. You need to read and understand the tenement agreement form that will guarantee you that the room has been reserve for you.

2. Being a first time renter, your first month rent + security deposit has to be paid directly to my mother or lawyer.

3. You can have your guest in your room during weekends but shall notify me prior there arrival and guest shall not stay beyond 3 nights maximum or extra charge will be paid afterwards. A maximum of two guest is allowed at a time.

A contract will also be prepared by my family lawyer to ensure your safety and guaranty of return of your deposit during your move out and to affirm the terms as to which we shall live as flatmates.

Contract Preparation
- Your full name
- Your move in and move out dates
- Current address where you shall receive your original copies of the documents and receipt.

Immediately i read from you with your understanding and acceptance of the terms with your details for contract preparation and also the room you have chosen, i shall forward it to my family lawyer who shall prepare the contract to facilitate the reservation and confirming you as my flatmate.

Third mail:

Hello ********,

I am extremely happy that we have finally come to the end of the whole rental protocols. I am definitely available to move you in upon your payment confirmation. Attached to this email contains your rental agreement contract .

After you have read and understand the terms and conditions you can go ahead and make the payment to my mother within 48hrs hours from receiving this mail.

Immediately you recieve this copy,and have understood all clauses indicated therein,you are to transfer the said amount by western union to my mother whose details appears in the contract and for verification purposes,i state it again below:
