My husband, toddler and I are moving to Madrid for school. We found this apartment at this website:

They have a lot of apartments for rent elsewhere in Europe. The website and everything look legitimate. However, they do require upfront reservation fee of over 600euros, which will be charged on our credit card. My only reservations are:
1) the apartment is comparatively cheaper than everything else they have on their website (or on other websites for that matter). So, it makes me wonder why the apartment is so cheap. There must be a catch...
2) the upfront fee also makes me worried. It's a huge amount and I would be giving them my credit card info.
3) If it is a scam, I don't want to be stuck in Madrid without a place to live, especially because we will be going with our little daughter.
However, like I said earlier, the website etc. looks legitimate. If they're scammers, they went through a lot of trouble...So, my questions are:
- has anybody heard/seen this website? any warnings?
