Subject: Re: £90 Tantalizing Furnished Room En-suite (INTERNET,SKY TV,SAFE & FRIENDLY) (Islington,York Way N7,London)
Hi,
The room is still for rent and thanks for the interest shown. UCL and various fun loving and important places are minutes walk from my flat.
The room for rent is en-suite,so it has its has it own private toilet and bathroom attached to it. The availability depends on when you want to rent the room as well. The rent is 90pounds a week or 360pounds a month which includes all utilities like electricity, water, gas, central heat, internet, cleaner, cook and council tax. You would not have to pay extra bills. A security deposit of 300pounds is required which would be refunded back to you when you move into the room. My house is at 89 York Way,Camden, London N7 9QF, UK.
My name is Mia Greenhill,25. I am clean, tidy and very considerate. I respect people's privacy, friendly and fun to be with.
I would appreciate it if you could just tell me a little about you and do not hesitate if you want to know anything about me too, just ask. I would also want you to tell me a little about your hobbies and things you enjoy doing during your free time as well.
Have a nice time as i await your response.
Best,
Mia
This person asks for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment either to him, your friend or a family member.
Sounds safe. It's not!
At other times, this person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union or Moneygram with the promise that they will send the keys through a courier company.
In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.
If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
Hi,
Yes you can visit the flat and move in straight away as soon as you confirm everything is good perfect for you and you like the flat.
The date of appointment is okay too but you would to show me a proof that you truly have the funds to pay for the security deposit and one month rent before a visit can actually be scheduled. This is for security reasons and is mandatory as the council laws here in London. This is how you would show the proof of availability funds:
You would have to give the money of the security deposit and one month rent to one of your friends or family member close to you and they would have to make a transfer to your name by Western Union Money Transfer as the receiver which you would receive here in London and pay me in cash only after you have visited the room and everything seem okay by you . Your friend or family member would only have to make the receiver's name (which is you) as London,United Kingdom so that you would be able to receive the money here in London when you arrive. Your money would be totally safe since you would be the receiver yourself here in London and valid International passport or ID would be required to receive the money here in London I hope everything seems clear to you ?
I have attached a copy of my council tax bill which is a government document so that you can be sure that i own the flat and also to be rest assured about everything as well. After the transfer has been made to you by western union, you would have to send me a copy of the western union receipt so that i can confirm fro the western union website if the transfer has been made and is genuine too. Thanks and your fast response would be highly appreciated.
Best,
Mia.
