This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union or MoneyGram with a promise that he will send the keys through a courier company.

Sounds safe. It's not!

At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a friend or family member.

In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.

Hi,

I'm glad to read back from you and your keen interest in my apartment , Presently there's no one to show you the apartment at the moment, The last couple that stayed in the apartment before, just sent the key of the apartment to me here in Middlesex uk. , after his lease end.

Here is the email of Mr.Edward Wilson from France who stayed in the apartment for six month ([email protected]) you can contact him and ask about the apartment and me.

Like i've told you before in my last email,I work with marketing company and i'm not around at the moment due to the project we are doing with one of our marketing company in Middlesex uk.

There is no min/max time of stay, You can stay in the apartment as long as you want to stay.and you can only know the terms and condition of the apartment untill i send you contract lease Agreement form.

I have all the necessary details, contract lease including the keys of the flat with me here.Let me know if you have interest before we proceed.

I look forward to reading from you soon. .and i'll like to speak with you further on how to proceed on msn. mine is [email protected]

Let me know what time you'll be available to chat so that i can be here to talk with you better.

Cheers,
Jennifer
