Subject: Re: furnished apartment in Stockholm

Thank you very much for your interest, the apartment is located at LĂ„ngholmsgatan, 30 Stockholm 11733 Sweden with 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom and it's fully furnished,I'm renting it at SEK2500 per month for the entire apartment with the hope to find a good person that will take good care of my apartment because I'm currently in London(UK) for a business assignment that will have me stay here for a minimum of 2 years.

Once again the rent is SEK2500 monthly plus SEK3000 security deposit to make a total of SEK5500 for the entire apartment, the rent price including all utilities bills.such as water, refrigerator, heater electricity, Internet, cable, parking, fireplace, dishwasher, microwave, air conditions and dryers..... The apartment is currently available for anybody that can meet up with the payment of the rent.Pets are allowed.

I want you to know that the security deposit fee of SEK3000 will be refunded to you when you are moving out of the apartment without if no damages.Hope to hear from you again if you are interested in the apartment.

Best regards,
Benedict

This person asks for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment either to him, a lawyer, your friend or a family member.

Sounds safe. It's not!

At other times, this person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union or Moneygram with the promise that they will send the keys through a courier company.

In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
