does this rental in amsterdam look legit?

hey everyone,

i'm new to this site but you seem legitimately versed in spotting scams. my fiance and i are going to amsterdam in july and we found what looks like a great spot to stay. we've had contact with the owner and everything seems super legit, but the paranoia in me just wants to make sure. i would appreciate anyone taking a glance at this page for the rental and letting me know if any red flags are raised for you. thanks in advance.

Unfortunately there isn't a whole lot of information on that site which makes it a bit hard for me to make an opinion. The price does seem right for that area of Amsterdam and an apartment of that size. I could find no hits on the email address or the phone numbers either. Could you explain to us what the payment details are? We might be able to tell you more then

yeah its a pay when you get there thing. there's a care taker who gives you the keys when you get there. again, it all seems legit and the communication ive had with the guy who owns the flat has been very on the level as far as i can tell. im just a bit paranoid. the fact that they arent asking for a deposit up front bodes well, in my opinion.

In that case, I don't think you have to worry it's a scam Standard scamming procedure with holiday rental scams is them asking a deposit which needs to be sent through Western Union or through bank transfer. It looks completely legit to me. Have a nice trip in Amsterdam!

not yet. we go out there late july. i'll let you know if i get scammed, robbed, maimed, bludgeoned, wake up in a tub of ice missing a kidney or sold in to white slavery. i will also let you know if none of that happens.
