Hello,

As regard the room which is available for rent.

Firstly let me introduce myself:
My name is Marie ,24,easy going, Clean tidy, non smoker female..

The house formally belongs to my late father, who worked with the British Embassy here in Spain until his death and he has passed it to my mother through his will.

The most important thing is that,i am looking for someone to share daily live and common value.

The ideal person i will like to share the apartment with must be a neat person, tidy, trust worthy, and there must be proof that he or she can pay for the monthly rent.

I am currently working with an Airline which enables me to travel alot and i as well attend language school when am not working.

The apartment is located at DGran Via Street, nÂș 61, Madrid...

The location is perfect as the House is in a cool area and there is no noise in the vicinity.

The apartment is located in the center of the city and it is close to bus stops and as well the metro Station which makes the apartment to be accessible.
The house has parking space for your cars if you have one..

The house has Washing machine and Dryer it also has internet and there is no need for you to bring in any furniture as the rooms are furnished with window blind and Bed spread, but you can as well come along with your furniture if you so wish..

Each room has Private Bathroom and Toilet, the Kitchen also has gas and water available and well Furnished Living room with TV connected to cable and DVD...

There is connection to internet via wireless and LAN and also Broadband aswell for your computer purpose,so you can come with your laptop or desktop if you have one...

The price for the apartment are as below:
350 Euro/ monthly rent, Utility (all bills) included.
600 Euro/ Security Deposit(It will be refund back to you on your move-out date).

to secure the room, you will have to pay for a month rent fee(first month) and the security deposit in advance, so that the room can be reserved for you...

Mode of payment will always be in cash but your first payment will be paid directly to our family lawyer for security and future purpose..

The minimum duration in the apartment is one month and long term stay is welcome in the apartment.

There are three rooms in the apartment, i currently occupy one, the second one is the one i am renting out, while the third room is regarded as visitor's room.

So the only thing we will have to share together is the kitchen and the living room and i hope you are clear with this...

If you are interested in sharing the flat with me, i will be glad if you can contact me for pictures and more procedures.

I wait your responds.

Marie

Hello Future roommate,

Thanks for your mail, and It's really nice to know your interest in my room.i have attached the pictures including my picture and i hope its ok with you...

The room is on the second floor and it has air conditioning, but you have to do this on time. because there are people that are still contacting me about the room and you are the first to email me for the room, so am willing to rent the room to you. but i still need to be sure of your interest first before i reserve the room for you or for your selected date.

However, if you are interested in renting the room you will have to book for it as soon as possible by paying for a month rent deposit (first month) and the security deposit directly to my Family Engliish Lawyer, (currently in U.K) via Bank or Wire Transfer. but before your payment to my Lawyer, let me have the following information that we enable my Family Lawyer prepare the Tenant Agreement Form in which you and i will have to sign after coming to agreement. then you will bring along your copy on your move-in date.

Let me have the following information for reservation..

1. Your actual moving-in and moving-out date...?
2. Your current home address...?(The purpose of the address is to enable me send a copy of the Agreement form to you, which you will bring along on your move-in date)
3.your Picture...?

About the signing of the Tenant Agreement Form that will be prepared by my Family Lawyer will be after having your Reciept of Booking, so that we can be sure of your seriousness in renting the room. so your commitment is needed for confirmation. i will also have to sign that i have received some certain amount from you for the rent and security deposit, so the receipt of your payment will be attached to the Form for future reference and for security purpose. I hope you understand ?

So let me have your details before you proceed with the payment then we sign the Contract to finalize the procedure.

I wait your responds soon..

Marie

The thief will tell you that you can rent his accommodation only if you can prove that you have genuine interest. He will ask you send money by wire transfer (normally Western Union) to yourself or a member of the family to show that you have sufficient finances and that you are not a "time waster".

Another variation of this scam is that you need to send money (again via Western Union) in order that the keys and other documents can be couriered to you

He will ask you to send him the transfer details.

Make no mistake ! Western Union Transfers can be picked up virtually anywhere in the world and with the minimum of identification. They are almost impossible to trace once the money has been collected. You will never get to see the accommodation or your money again.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment by Western Union before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
