Castillo Mireia Jimenez [email protected] Rental scam

Hello,
My apartment at the address: is free and ready to rent!
It consists of: 1 bedroom with balcony, living room, kitchen and 1 bathroom. The rental price for one month is €450.
The apartment is on the 2nd floor with elevator and is fully furnished but can be rented partially unfurnished upon your request. Pets are welcome! Want us to send you some photos? If you are still interested, I await your reply.
Thank you very much.

Hello again,

Thank you for your prompt reply. First of all, a little about me - I'm Castillo Jimenez Mireia, a 42-year-old dentist from Spain.
The apartment remained mine after I divorced my husband 2 years ago. Since then I have been renting it through Booking for short or long term (I would prefer long term if possible...)..
I have included some photos in the album here:

Now I would like to know more about you (your name, age, occupation), how many people will live in the apartment and for how long?
The total rental price including (water, electricity, internet/cable TV) is 450 euros/month. I also ask for a refundable guarantee of 1000 euros. The guarantee you will get back at the end of the rental contract!
The apartment can be rented for a minimum of 1 month and a maximum of 10 years.
As I said above, I can only rent it through Booking.com because I'm in Spain, I'm sure you've heard of or used Booking before.
It won't cost you anything to book through Booking.com. If you are interested, I can give you more information about the whole process of renting through Booking.com.

Thanks,
Castillo Jimenez Mireia

Thank you for your reply!

As I told you in my last message, I live in Spain, Barcelona, and I don't have anyone in Athens who can show you the apartment, so I have to use Booking.com to complete the rental process. They will take care of everything and after booking they will send a representative so that he can visit the apartment and rent it afterwards.
So after booking the apartment you will have 2 options:

1) You will visit the apartment with the Booking representative and on the same day you can stay in the apartment if you like.
The agent will have a power of attorney from me to represent me and enter into the rental agreement with you. Everything will be legal and the contract will be registered (This is not the first time I am renting the apartment, so I know the whole legal process we need to follow.)
The rental contact is fully flexible to meet both of our requirements. So if you want to add or remove anything from the contract, we can do that. I'm a reasonable person and you don't need to worry about anything.

2) If, after visiting the apartment, you decide not to rent it (for whatever reason), there will be no problem because the cancellation policy is completely flexible and free on Booking.com - Anyway, it's hard to believe that it won't happen to rent it!
So after booking and visiting the apartment you will sign the rental contract and only after that Booking.com will transfer the money to me (the first month's rent 450 euros + the guarantee 1000 euros.
Please note that the deposit will be fully returned to you when the rental agreement is completed.

The information I need from you is as follows:
- Date of move:
- Rental period:
- Full name of the people who will stay in the apartment:
- Mobile number:
- The scanned ID of the person who will rent my apartment.
Since I asked for your ID, it's only fair that you share mine (you can see it attached to this message)
I am waiting for the information I asked you above and I will send you the booking link to book the apartment to visit and rent it.
With appreciation,
Castillo Jimenez Mireia
