About my Flat ...... Rent Per Calendar Month : (£400.00 Per Month) Deposit: £500..00. These gorgeous two bedroom, two bath have everything you need to make you feel right at home. Each one of these apartments come standard, washer and dryer and a full suite of black Whirlpool appliances. Your monthly rent already covers utilities so you do not have to pay extra charges for that.. Please note that the deposit made is fully refundable should in case you finally gain entrance to the house after receiving the keys and documents and feel unsatisfied or uncomfortable with the interior,but i am giving you a benefit of doubt that you will love everything about this lovely home.

This person asks for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment either to him, your friend or a family member.

Sounds safe. It's not!

At other times, this person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union or Moneygram with the promise that they will send the keys through a courier company.

In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.

Thanks for the mail and all the content in it was well noted, Viewing is not a problem but i am scared because of the bad experience i had Some weeks ago, A man asked for permission to come to my house for payment after he said he is interested in my flat and i got him approved by the council, But i never knew he was a criminal, They all looked innocent to me so i never suspected anything since am an easy going person and i love meeting new people. At first, we met at a coffee shop to discuss more about the flat and so on. After which we both went over to my flat to view the flat avail He came to my flat with some friends, to cut the long story short,I was robbed my i-phone,my laptop and total sum of £1560 in cash including my wife jewelries that her grandma gave to her which were so precious and priceless and beaten almost to a state of stupor. Now i don't know how to go about these, But i came up with an idea for anyone who wants to view my flat but i am not sure if you are going to reason with me.

Here is the idea i came up with. You can send the deposit via western union using any of your friends name as the receiver of the deposit, once you have done that, all i need is the transfer information stating that you made the deposit. Then you can come and view the flat in the evening. You still haven't told me the exact time you want to come and view? If after viewing and you decide not to take the room, you can go over to western union and collect your deposit back, but if you decide to take the room then your friend would go over and collect the deposit from the western union and give it to me in your presence.

Meanwhile the reason am doing this is because have been having problems with time wasters in regards of keeping to time and appointment to sort out things...after all there promises to meet up for me to show them around and sort out things,they will not show up...and this is really time wasting, i know that is not your intention but i need to be 100% sure about this. You have nothing to be worried about. Please try and understand where am coming from on this.
