Thanks for the interest in my flat. I have attached the pictures of the room . It is a 3 bedroom and 3 bath. Each room cost £420 per month inclusive of all bills and internet. I am looking for students/professional clean and calm person to occupy the room, refundable security Deposit is only £400 plus 1st month Rent. All common areas like kitchen, dining room, living room, washer/dryer and fenced backyard are accessible. All you have to pay every month is rent no bills or hidden charges and i take care of the bills including electricity, water, phone weekly cleaner etc. A little about myself - I'm 29 years old, and working in the city center. I'm outgoing and sociable, and hoping to find friendly, interesting, fun and tidy people to live with. I tend to spend a few evenings in the week and parts of the weekend at home. Sounds safe. It's not!

At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a lawyer,a friend or family member.

In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.

And note the American spelling, for someone in the UK! aside from Micheal (from Nigeria).

The b*stard tried to get me!!

When I asked about a viewing, he sent me a form to fill out (just basic information) and when I asked if I could have a viewing before completing any forms, he advised:

"Hi, Viewing is not a problem but i am scared because of the bad experience i had Some weeks ago, A man asked for permission to come to my house for payment after he said he is interested in my flat and i got him approved by the council, But i never knew he was a criminal, He came to my flat with some men, to cut the long story short,I was robbed and beaten almost to a state of stupor, Now i think you understand me,. But i don't know how to go about these, But i came up with an idea for anyone who wants to view my flat but i am not sure if you are going to reason with me."

And when if he had a number I could call him on, he said:

"Have you got a telephone number I can call you on?"
