Fake renter scam: Dr. Vanhegan now Dr. Vinogradsky

This fake renter has changed his name and e-mail addresses but not his phone number. I found warnings about this scam by googling the phone number. Thank you to those who posted those warnings and saved me from some expensive bank charges or worse!

should be able to creat time to discuss on phone tomorrow morning your
time. Please be rest assurred that we will take absolute care of this
unit because we don't like pets and we don't smoke. We are relocating
to Canada because of the recent tax policies on private practice here
in England. We will be into private practice upon our arrival in
Canada. My representative (Mr Marcus Panat) will carry out inspection
and make arrangement for the rents and deposit prior to my arrival. Mr

Be informed, that i have decided to rent this unit for a period of
24months as i will be buying a home after the duration of this lease.
Let me know if three months and deposit will be enough to secure this
unit. If you will prefer the 12months rents and deposit effected in

the lease agreement as i will like to review the terms and conditions

This person is now using the name Parwe Hossain, and with resident address in Southampton, UK.
Reference names have also been changed.
Otherwise the email message is identical to original posting

Thank you for this update. Scammers do purchase scripts or steal scripts from other scammers. They also set up many different email accounts so if one gets closed they still have other options.

Following is one of several email received over the past week. It started with an inquiry about our house for rent on craigslist, then the following email which I thought was weird from the beginning. Since, I have had several more email and I did call the number from the email below and "the agent" confirmed the details etc. It was a strange conversation. Suspicious, I emailed the clinic where the real Dr Carapeti is supposed to work but, they hadn't emailed me back and I kept googling until I found this site by searching the key words and email address from the messages. Thanks everyone for sharing. We didn't lose any money but, now our house rental information and pictures are out there for a scammer to take advantage of others with.
