Thanks for the email.

I am the owner of the 1bed Apartment and also want you to know that it was due to my transfer that makes me and my family’s to leave the house and also want to give it out for rent and looking for a responsible person that can take a very good care of the apartment for us.

As we are not after the money for the rent but we want it to be very clean at the time and the person that will rent it to take it as if it were its own. So for now we are here in LONDON, our new house and also with the keys of the house, the House is still available and will only be given out to the right person that will take very good care of the place and the facilities. Well I must let you know that the house has a lot of facilities like laundry facilities, air condition, internet and telephone access and car garage and other necessary facilities. I have really decided to give out the house as a result of my transfer to London UK, in my place of work

we try to look for a reliable agent that we can give the keys and documents before we left but could not see, we are as well as don't want our house to be miss-used in our absent that is why we took it the keys and document of the house along with us.

I and my wife came over to London for MISSIONARY WORK, so I hope you will promise us to take very good care of the house.

We are giving you the first month free then you commence the payment of the second month. We want you to pay security deposit fee of $800 so that when you are paying for the second month fee which is $600. So if you are interest in rent my place them fill the application for the below and get back to me ASAP.

Fill the application and get back to me ASAP.

This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union or MoneyGram with a promise that he will send the keys through a courier company.

Sounds safe. It's not!

At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a lawyer,a friend or family member.

In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.

If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
