I am very grateful at your interest in my Craigslist AD about the Rent of my home.. The flat is available and is in good condition.. It goes for $400 Monthly it is a One bedroom flat fully furnished and hosting an empty room that could be used as a store or an office or for smoking as a smokers room.. I am giving away my place because for the next one year or so because i will be away on a Missionary trip and to see the charities home in another branch in West Africa. I just remodeled majority of the home and i want it kept clean at all times. If or when you become my tenant, I will come over quarterly so as to check up on things. My wife is with me Here in West Africa, she had an accident which she lost her hearing and nearly lost her life but we thank God that she is fine and all is well. I am in my mid ages and i chose that location because it is very peaceful. The apartment is still available for rent..I don't smoke, and drink, but that extra room could be converted to a smokers room if you smoke 'as stated above' because it is well ventilated. Pets Considered. I am a kind and honest Person and i want you to know that the money is not the problem, I just want someone who will take care of my home.I’m looking for a tenant that will stand on there promise till the last date, just like trustworthy,honest,kind,stable, responsible and respectful tenants...All funds are Refundable..

This person asks for a deposit payment via Western Union or MoneyGram with a promise that he will send the keys through a courier company.
Sounds safe. It's not!
At other times, he will ask for proof that you are able to pay the deposit and rent due to a string of time wasters.
This proof is in the form of a Western Union or MoneyGram payment to a lawyer,a friend or family member.
In either case, if payment is made and you give this person the details, they will collect the money.
You will not hear from them again.
If you are reading this because you are looking for property to rent, and you are in contact with this thief you are probably searching Craigslist, Gumtree or similar listing sites. If you receive any requests from 'Landlords' asking for some kind of payment before viewing, then it will also be a scam. Please forward the mail to me at the address in my signature line and I will investigate and list them if necessary.
