I went on a scamming hunt and posted a fake add on Craigslist looking for a rental place and here are the emails I received from the "owners". It's not the usual scripted emails but I did a search on the address and the pictures they attached and everything did not add up.
1st Email:

The main room with wooden floor is furnished with a sofa-bed (full size=220*250cm), a bookcase, a TV unit with a flat screen TV (digital terrestrial television channels). There is a free access to Internet (WIFI).
The kitchen is open onto the living-room. There is a serving hatch. It is equipped with 2 electric plates, a fridge, a washing machine, a micro-waves, a coffee-maker, a kettle, dishes and utensils to cook at home.Find the pictures in the attachment..
The bathroom is fitted with a shower, a washbowl, a wall cabinet, a mirror, a towel-dryer. There is tilled floor and Individual electric heating. tell me more about you...

Located right in the heart of inner-city South Wharf, Melbourne’s newest destination for fashion.
It is the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) comprising of the Melbourne Exhibition Centre and the Melbourne Convention Centre. As the largest, most versatile convention and exhibition space in the Southern Hemisphere.
Accessible from every direction by foot, car or public transport, the MCEC is surrounded by world-class cafes and bars, and some of Melbourne’s finest restaurants.
There are three bedrooms in the apartment,ther is no one living in the apartment right now. but i have a past tenant that have lived in the apartment before but he is in USA right now.

I have not received any more communications from them and when I did try to email them, gmail informed me that the email address is no longer active. Even so, at least we know one of their alias despite the fact that they will no doubt just create another email account
