Pictures of a nice apt. for about half the cost were posted here in San Francisco. I told him I don't trust and he said I would not have to give money up front. It's the same story of how he was with his family in the apt. and he is in the U.K. Saw the Toronto script earlier with Ron at gmail.
Anyow, Interlink Direct is involved in what I think is a scam and I thought I'd just post that part. I gave him my address so he can mail the keys and contract, but it sounds like interlink is supposed to hold the deposit until I finalize the deal. My understanding is Interlink doesn't work that way.

This transaction is secure for both of us, because you'll not send me any money in advance, and also i have the insurance that you are a serious tenant. You will have 100% protection.
You will only have to deposit to InterLink Direct a safety deposit ($790.00 - They will be the payment for the first month of rent), so they can proceed with the shipping, and you can receive the keys and the contract.
I will not receive this deposit, the payment details will be unavailable to me, I will get the payment only if you decide to rent the apartment... You are protected as a customer, the funds will remain in InterLink Direct custody until the package is delivered and the apartment is inspected.
If you do not rent the apartment you will get the money back the same day! Basically the money will be sent to them and they will keep the money until you will receive the keys and the contract and only after you will inspect the apartment they will forward the money to me.
You will have the chance to inspect the apartment 2 days and decide either you keep it or not. If you decide to keep it, the Interlink people will release me the funds, if NOT, you only have to return the keys to them, they will refund the money to you and the keys back to me, on my expense!
You will not be disappointed!
If you agree with the rental conditions, we can get things started. I will complete the transaction ASAP. This way I will also reserve the apartment for you and refuse other offers.
Email me back soon with your decision!
